The figure was created by author John Wigforss and has been portrayed by several actors over the years, including Karl Elis Ludvig Ellis and Nils Poppe. The character is a comical yet educational academic from Lund, famous for his proud demeanor and distinctive way of speaking. He has become a cultural icon in southern Sweden, beloved for generations through both theatre and film.
