Ellinge Castle
Ellinge Castle, located in Västra Sallerup parish in Eslöv Municipality, is one of Skåne’s oldest manors, with origins dating back to the 12th century. The castle is situated about 4 kilometers southwest of Eslöv, by the Bråån River, a tributary of the Lödde River (Kävlingeån).
During the Middle Ages, Ellinge was a defensive fortress, and only remnants of the original castle remain within the present corps de logis. The building has undergone several renovations, particularly in the 18th century, which significantly altered its appearance.
Today, Ellinge Castle is used for various events, including weddings, parties, and conferences. The castle provides a unique setting for such occasions and has become a popular venue.
