Örtofta Castle
Örtofta Castle, located in Örtofta parish in Eslöv Municipality, has been known since the 11th century and is considered one of Skåne’s oldest and, during the Middle Ages, most significant estates. The first known owner was Trugot Has, who resided at the castle in the 14th century. Over the years, the castle has undergone multiple renovations and reconstructions.
Today, Örtofta Castle is used for private events such as weddings and conferences. Currently, the castle is not open for public visits or guided tours. However, visitors can admire the castle from the walking path along the Bråån River, which runs through the estate and offers a scenic walk.
